I am getting the ex Garry Pollard Speedair 40 ready to fly and thought it would be nice to give the Horus the job of controlling it.
Does anyone know what this HORUS folder contained, is it important and where can I get a copy to reinstall it?

Since I was still getting nowhere with the FrOS programming system (the offering you get from FrSky and preloaded in the TX) I bit the bullet and installed OpenTX on my Horus. What a disaster! Everything worked as it should with 2 exceptions, the mode selection is wrong, in order to get Mode 2 (AETR) I had to select Mode 4, secondly, and far more serious, even after calibrating the sticks I only ever got the sticks to work in one direction from centre, I checked everything I could but no dice, Ailerons worked one side of the stick and not the other, Elevators, Rudder and Throttle the same, after 4 days I decided to switch back.
It's taken me 3 days to get my old Horus back, the online instructions are wrong! Finally got it back this morning! Goodbye OpenTX, forever!

Including postage it cost me nearly 500quid! I can't afford to have that kind of investment sitting around doing nothing! And of course Mary's seen it around now for a while so it's not something new that I've bought! Domestic fraud rules, OK!crash happy wrote: If patience truly is a virtue, then you certainly have some Klippy. I would have thrown all my toys out of the pram by now & kicked the pram over !!!
Besides, Operating system aside, in the hand the Horus is class, nice feel, Hall effect sticks (so no rubbing of potentiometers), wireless trainer and the ability to plug any module in to control any other RX.
