Horus X12S was created by Klipkopwildlife
About 2 years ago I bought the Horus X12S, I wanted a top of the range Tx but couldn't afford the Futaba. I was so pleased when it arrived, it's magnificent, so many bells and whistles to play with and the gimbals are silky smooth. Like all FrSky stuff it comes with no documentation and there's a lot of stuff you have to 'intuit', but we're men right? We don't need instructions! Anyway, with all my messing about I managed to delete a folder. It comes with the following folders, AIRPLANE, HORUS, HELICOPTER, GLIDER, MULTICOPTER and CUSTOM. While messing around I accidentally erased the HORUS folder with absolutely no idea of its contents! The new Tx has been languishing in a drawer ever since.
I am getting the ex Garry Pollard Speedair 40 ready to fly and thought it would be nice to give the Horus the job of controlling it.
Does anyone know what this HORUS folder contained, is it important and where can I get a copy to reinstall it?

It might be stating the obvious, but have you tried the FRSKY website?

Yup, been there, upgraded my firmware from it. I can't find any reference to what is shipped on the Flash drive for the Horus. It's possible I'm not using the right search string when on the site.

Patience is a virtue they say, your link gives me different pages! Buried on page 4 is the Horus and it gives me all the files I need!

If you are using OpenTX there is a full set of documentation here:

OpenTX Documentation

Should give you something to read over the winter.

Don't know about the Horus, but my X9 tells me I'm on Open TX - for about half a second on switch-on, as it boots up.
