Here's a pic of the tail wheel. I put a small plate behind the last former to reinforce the tail wheel tube. I also had to lower the position for the rudder horn.

This is where I got the struts, 3inch spinner from:-

$20 plus the shippingfor the pair. I have used these with success on a Kyosho Hien with the HK servoless retracts. I had to shorten the spring and they work well. 5mm same as the retract, 4mm wheel shaft and 115mm length.

Came across this instrument panel.
The colour cartridge on the printer has run out.
Lovely flying weather here this morning, but I just want to stay home and carry on with the build! What's happening to me?

that's a good find for the instrument panel obby
the flairs look okay in the pictures, not so good close up.
calm, clear blue sky's, but bloody freezing.
do i go flying or stay in, drink coffee and fit the retracts.

Looks like I have my own thread!
I had no intention of hijacking Tonys 4 hurricanes thread, just got a bit carried away. Need all the help I can get with this 'first' build any help or advice would be much appreciated

now that looks very very nice.
for a first build it is fantastic.
i like the battery hatch in the top, i might have to steal that idea.
i have been putting off doing the nose as i am dreading the carving.
