Thanks for the welcomes
This is where I got the struts, 3inch spinner from:-

$20 plus the shippingfor the pair. I have used these with success on a Kyosho Hien with the HK servoless retracts. I had to shorten the spring and they work well. 5mm same as the retract, 4mm wheel shaft and 115mm length.

the flairs look okay in the pictures, not so good close up.
calm, clear blue sky's, but bloody freezing.
do i go flying or stay in, drink coffee and fit the retracts.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm decisions.

for a first build it is fantastic.
i like the battery hatch in the top, i might have to steal that idea.
i have been putting off doing the nose as i am dreading the carving.

Going to start on the centre section. The article says to use the "dihederal brace" to angle
the W4 rib. Is the dihederal brace the angle that is located in the middle of the tail fin on the plan? Those outer W4 ribs should be angled in slightly on the top? The brace should be used on the inside of W4?
