Oh well Simon, treat that as a request please. If I'm welcome, can I come & photograph or video the maiden.
I don't NEED to be allowed to fly there, but it would be a bonus if you can arrange it.

1. It is a council football field that is open to the public. Golf, motorcycles and dog pooh specifically prohibited but it does not say anything about planes. Thus there is nothing to arrange for you to fly. Both Eric and Sarah have flown there.

My Concorde only has 2 inaccessible extension lead connectors and they are also taped together - all other joins are 'wire to wire' soldered.

You are welcome to photo/video its maiden - although you might actually be seeing its second flight!

Its just when I do an 'official' maiden I like to know it will fly.

With 40mm fans it counts as a micro EDF!

The battery hatch just about completes the structural work.

The four tiny magnets hold it closed.

I might give the whole airframe a very light coat of white acrylic spray to give a more uniform colour but any more decoration than that will have to wait and will depend on how (or if!) it flies.

Not really - more likely daft!
Here it is with a light coat of white spray on the fuselage and just a 'dusting' on the wings.

You have to be careful with Acrylic spray as the solvent slowly attacks Depron so you have to give it very light coats. It is essential that the Depron surface never get enough paint at any one time to leave a 'wet' surface.

I am not really happy with the knock off nose arrangement. I fear that if it gets dislodged (very likely) it will damage the surrounding structure. To make it rigid enough to withstand the likely sort of landing impact would require quite a bit of additional internal structure. If I can actually get it in my car in one piece I will simply glue the nose on permanently as it would be the lightest and strongest solution.

The Concorde maiden (yes it really was its actual maiden!)

Nearly crashed it! :woohoo
Makes an interesting noise but it is really a bit under powered so it drops like a stone if you pull a tight turn but it climbs well enough when flying straight.
Only a brief flight (4 minutes) as I was anxious to execute a reasonable landing before the battery ran out.

well at least it flies sir.

With rather low power it is difficult to judge exactly what the response really is. As it has both elevators and elevons the pitch authority is reasonable - note the pull up just a few seconds after launch.
As I found with the Valkyrie when at slow speed a slim delta has surprisingly good natural stability so the ailerons feel rather soggy to start with but once the roll starts it need some opposite input to stop it.
It will need more flights to explore what it can actually do.
