The good news engine has arrived
the better news .it fits
the bad news the mount holes are wrong .there about 1/8 wider either side.
My laser 50 wouldnt fit the carb and silencer are in the wrong places. My saito 40 looks to small im width also
now Im confused and not sure where to go.
I wish people would leave engines in.

Why don't you measure the hole distances, fore and aft, and across, then check the link that Alan has given us and see which engines will be suitable. :)

Do it now, you may never get another chance

I make it 45mm wide between hole centres
and from front hole to back hole 15mm
I think that makes it a Saito 50
which I think the saito 45 is the same dimension

I see I paid Alan 60quid for it, it's in good nick, boxed. If you want it at that price you'd better PM your address and I'll get sissy to post it to you, you pay the postage. [badass]

The mount has wedges on top and captive nuts underneath and it would spoil the model to try and modify it.Im not sure how you could get in there
