F1 being glued into fuselage 4.
i am doing the fun job of curving the 3mm sheet round the front curve of fuselage 3 now.
(well not now as i am having a coffee and picking super glue off of my fingers)
when this has dried i can curve the rear tailplane fairing and then finish off the stringers, that will be fuselage 3 sorted for now.
tomorrow will be fuselage 4's turn to be finished off.
monday or tuesday i will start making tailplanes for the squadron.

Fitting the front sheets to this.
First wet and pre shape the balsa.
Then start glueing down while holding in place.
Cut to the centerline once stuck and stick the next bit down.
Finish off and sand down.
All 4 fuselages on the table.
fuse 4 needs finishing off, but we are just about there.
and now i think i need 40 winks as i am knackered.

Well today has been a mixed bag of nuts.
lots of housework to do, but i made a start on the first stab.
this is my one and it will be left open and covered with tissue.
the others are to be sheeted with 1/16 balsa, but i have not started them yet.
took a while to get my head round the plans and construction details.

number 2 stab getting sheeted.
sheeted and plonked on.
number 1 stab now sanded down with the part tips on.
this one is going to be covered with film and not sheeted.
i have saved 12gm weight by having it open.
elevators started.
that's 14 riblets to each one, times this by 4 for all the elevators.
god this is hard fiddly work.
