time for an update i think.
it is all fitted out now, just need to get the canopy and cockpit sorted and the 3 blade prop and spinner ordered and we are then done and dusted.

i have been a while finishing as i wanted to get blue's lancaster done as well, so i can deliver the two at the fly in or the nats whichever comes first.

Hi, Ted.
Welcome to the best forum!
Please be advised that Tony B is no longer on this group, so don't expect an answer from him.
If I recall correctly, he made the decals himself by making the templates on a vinyl cutting machine, then hand-painting them in.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I could be mistaken but it's a possibility that Mike & I made the decals for him. Mike acquired a vinyl plotter with a broken PSU and I repaired it. We made a number of items for various members and were even considering starting a decal cutting business. We had access to a huge range of colours of vinyl as used by signwriters, I still have a load of it cluttering up some of my storage spaces.
I was clearing the shed recently and I came across the plotter, it's big & heavy and I still can't decide what to do with it.

Pol.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.
