Welcome, Paul. I saw your model at the Shawbury nats - it was very nice, if not quite ready for the comp. Going by that, I reckon you'll have a thing or two to teach us as well. That's the whole point.

Have they mentioned new joiners have to contribute a build thread yet? Especially free-flighters.

(That's not necessarily completely true... but it would cheer us all up).

G'day,
Greetings from Snake Valley, Australia.
Have been flying around 45 yrs, various types. Started C/L and F/F models, comp. and sport.
Then radio up to petrol engines, now I seemed to have gone "full circle", enjoying F/F cabin models
with rudder/only assist, and building F/F Scramble and Scale models for Australian Nats.
Also enjoying early diesels (almost addicted!) most 2cc and under. (Favourite possibly E.D. 2cc Pennyslot), also early Mills, Elfins, etc. , along with Australian made.
Apologise for late intro, was early morning hrs when I made first post.
Cheers!
Thanks: Phil Wood, Klipkopwildlife, Squirrelnet

G'day flight-risk and welcome to the Forum. Also, thanks for the intro, and no apologies are necessary.

It sounds like we have a similar modelling background in that I started with FF in 1958, dabbled in CL, expanded to RC and I'm now back with FF again!

You'll find us a varied bunch of individuals here, but we're all willing to help and advise. Hopefully you'll enjoy the Forum as much as we do.

If you have the time, a build thread on your model would be appreciated. We can then give more appropriate advice.... [badass] [badass]

Well, here you go Andy, since you so politely suggested I should do more than just browse the topics... :P

I'm Graham Kennedy and have been involved in scale modelling from a very early age, thanks to my Dad, Alex.

My interest is scale competitive flying and judging. I have judged in the UK for over 20 years and have been involved internationally for over 15 including at F4 Champs, Jet World Masters and Top Gun in Lakeland, Florida.

As far as building, my main interests in recent years has been free flight and scale indoor RC models. However, now that I have my own building roon ( thanks to no longer living in London) I am about to embark on a 1/4 scale project as well as finishing off several projects that have been unloved for some time.

Anyway, I do not want to go on too much, so I shall sign off for now. I look forward to contributing on the forum.

Hi Graham and welcome to the forum, see I can get your name right :) I look forward to seeing more of your antics, enjoyed your pics from Breighton a couple of weekends ago.
Indoor rc scale ? Will we see you competing at Shawbury next year?
