Type your long messages into your 'office' programme, and 'save' it there, then just copy and paste to the forum. If it gets lost again, you still have the original.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Unless it is really necessary, DON'T! Weight is a model-killer, and the 71 doesn't have an awful lot of wing!

Hiya ,Can i butt in ? Oh I have [badass] Luan should be fine without any reinforcement,or Revolution ply which i believe has fewer imperfections and is less splintery. I may be teaching granny but I have a tip or two to offer. Before offering the ply to the saw cut through the outer veneer with a sharp knife. Then put the blade along side the cut and cut without overlapping . This avoids the splintering which may otherwise occur on the face side. It's impossible to cut both faces the same so put masking tape over the cutting area on the reverse. OR clamp a sacrificial piece to the reverse . Anything will do for that. you could use the tape and a piece .It may not totally eliminate splintering but certainly would help. Also if you can cut a little away from the line and sand back to the line that should help too. If I have attempted to teach granny to suck eggs I apologise.Lovely work so far. :woohoo:

Anything will fly given enough power
