Paul
I should have noticed the wing in not central on its mount.
Done that quite a few times on my RC wing rubber banders and flown them like that. It always surprises me how little difference it makes, particularly when you have ailerons.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

What became of Crash's proposed DH Beaver?

Re my 100" e-glider, of which the assembly 'stalled'.
I wrote somewhere that I solved the motor (lack of) space problem by sawing a bit of the nose off, and making a new ply firewall, so that the motors I already have WILL fit!
That leads me into another minor problem! I can't find a centre section hub for a folding prop that is big enough to allow the prop to fold around the new nose-end!
I need one with 6cm between blade hub pivots, and will take 8mm blade hubs, but mounts onto a regular prop driver! (which is bolted to the spinning bell of the motor - there is no shaft!).
There's nothing even near in the Hobbything warehouse, nor any of the on-line UK retailers that I've tried, so far.
-
The crunchy-foam little Green-Air Mosquito - I'm still messing about with fitting the spar, without using gallons of epoxy or adding weight - to bond it to the material. So that has gone no further, either. I need to fit the spar before I can attach the wing to the fuz, then add the motor pods, so I can fit the ailerons and speedo's, which hide in the pods, but I have to run the wires before I put the wing into the fuz!
Conundrum!

That was, of course, meant to say - aileron SERVO's and speedo's, which fit - - - -

Never got past the "thinking about it" stage mate. I got sidetracked with the Viggen's Mk1 & 2. Too many other projects on the go to contemplate starting it now. One to be revisited in the winter maybe.
