I was a bit doubtful about this one. Thought it would probably be only good at one and not the other. Bit it's agile, quick and nimble on dual rates in the air...and the same on the ground despite it's differential steering. Great little toy to play with.

Interesting
I wonder what happens if you run it as a quad in car mode. No stability?

As Q put - interesting.
Two questions - looking at the tx - am I right in thinking this is an infra-red controller, and not 2.4G radio?
In which case it is no good for outside if we get a sunny day.
Also the reduction gear mechanism in the wheels - how dirt and grit-proof are they?

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

First on the running it in quad mode when you've got it configured as a car...the result wouldn't be good. It would only move if you click the take off button and then it would almost certainly accelerate toward the nearest wall and not slow down unless you clicked the land button. LOL.

It's 2.4Ghz system so no worries outside. Suspect the gears in the wheels wouldn't take too kindly to puddles. Best left to indoor action. Ready to run this thing is £35 delivered. Good deal for the fun you get out of it.

I'm going to give this to my buddy Charlie who did the wild driving. Love the kid. Works hard at school and as he said on the vid he would like it. So I'm running around there tomorrow to put it in his hands just to see the SMILE on his face. Might even take a picture.
