Do not ummm or arrrrh any more Tony - this could be one of your most important builds - 'specially as you told me you are going to fit proper engines - Another builder returning to the light!!!

I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum.
Cos how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out your bum?!

I agree with Grumpy. What price would it be going for when complete Tony?

been having a think about this one.
make the nose removable as on the Lancaster.
have the wing center sections permanently joined to the fuselage, thus enabling all the wiring for the flaps, retracts, motors to stay connected at all times.
have the outer wing panels slide on and off, thus you would only have the aileron wires to connect.
removable tail as on the lancaster.
after that i dunno about how scale it should be.

need to cut 20 inches out of the wingspan.
so it would be 114 inch.
tailplane has to have 18 inches taken out of its width as well.
fuselage will stay the same size as the manchester was only 8 inches longer, so i would have to add just over an inch to the length, but some manchesters were converted to lancasters after they had been started, so i don't think that part is crucial.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

You could claim it was a half and half!

got a small plan in the mail today.
its for a small plastic model, but it gives the layout and some more details.
a bit more info towards the build. (if it happens)
