Whoo!... here she is..... always wanted a Cat but for some reason I couldn'tbring myself buy a foam one... not 'cos I don't rate Polystryrene or am an anti foam snob or anything.... they're a bit small really... or something.... Anyroadup... as soon as O saw this beauty I knew I HAD to have one. What a beautiful model.....Fantastic composite fuselage with ply trays.... very minor construction, the usual assembling of components, installation of electrics etc... minor glueing... FAB!!!

More will follow...

I take it you mean this one? ... £167.31 & available from the UK warehouse.
It does look like a tasty piece of kit.

Also showing as GBP163.45 depending on which link I used to get to the page.... very strange .... both UK warehouse.
Don't forget, if you intend to order from HK .... put up the page & sit watching it ..... After a while a pop up box will appear saying you've been looking at this model for ages, so we're going to tempt you with a discount, but it's a one off offer & won't be repeated if you close the box or leave the page .
Add the item to your shopping cart at this point & you'll preserve the lower price....... You can always remove it if you change your mind later.

That is very nice, any chance of some pictures Jonesy?
Is it purely for water or would it cope with grass takeoffs and landings?

Somebody called me 'pretentious' the other day.

I nearly choked on my latte.

Hi Phil..... yeah, that's the one... my pics didn't upload!!?? Damn!... Yeah, the best H.K. price you'll get isn't as good as the U.K. price... once you've added the postage... Dean... I've seen a vid on youtube with someone in Australia flying off grass, she went well, but the fuselage is so beautifully glossed it'd be a shame to scratch it up..... but with a little tape to protect it... Qourny.... I'm thinking of trying to install a servo in the wings to retract the floats.. again, there's a nice film of a chaps Cat with retractable sponsons(?) nice job.....

Your last post arrived 4 times as well .... sorted now though.
What problem are you having with the pic's?
Are you giving them a couple of seconds to load before you hit "Submit"?

a tip for flying off grass,is cut a 2 litre coke bottle down to fit the fusalage bottom. did this to a twin star and it even took off from rough tarmac.. i found this out when the twinstar was sitting on the ground and i decided to run the battery down. i was not holding the plane silly me  the plane was facing into wind. aquick puff of wind and the left wing lifted off the ground and she shot up into the sky, i just flew her around a bit and brought her down again like i had meant to do it anyway

if in doubt crash

Nice idea Phil....ta... I've actually just got permission to fly off a lake 1 1/2 miles away, so I doubt she'll ever see the grass as I've now collected 3 lakes to fly from which is good as a0 I like to fly from different places... keeps you thinking... b) I can share myself about and not get on anyones nerves too much and c) leaves me options for wind direction... Still can't post photos... shame..... Still... ration day tomorrow!

Send your photo's to photobucket (it's free), then copy the img link onto the page you want the pics on.
I've explained this several times, now!

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
