BT 96" Harvard plan was created by Fly-Navy
Has anyone on here built one or got the plan they could have a look at for me please?
It's with regard to the u/c blisters on top of the wing that blend in with the fuselage, I would like to know if the details are on the plan to build them in rather than those plastic ones. I have been to the Traplet tent at the last two shows as they normally have the plans of Taylor and Bryant in condensed form in big books but they have not had the books with them.
It's not a major problem and one I could work out but I'm after the easy life now
Cheers
John

I have BT's smaller Harvard plan from the 1980s. I'll dig it out, scan the respective parts and post it....but it may take a couple of days to find the plan FN.

Thank you Andy, that is very kind of you and would be appreciated.
I have the Flair one and I put retracts in that one. I saw the Us Marines one at the Nats and thought I would fancy a bigger one and speaking to the owner he said it was the Ziroli one and they come out rather heavy and suggested the BT one.
Sorry our paths never crossed the weekend would have been nice to meet.
Thanks again, whenever it's convenient with you.

That might be different then Geoff, I assumed they were the ABS ones.
Thank you.

It is a toss up between this and his P47 Razorback, I really can't make up my mind. The more I saw the Texan the weekend the more I liked it. Whichever I choose the lot will be collected from Traplet as it's only 20 mins down the road and I hate,, folded plans.

I've found the plan John, but I'm afraid it won't be of much help as it shows a fixed undercarriage - it is early 80s model technology after all..... Anyway, for what it's worth, here's a photo of the wingroot plan and the relevant ribs:

Thank you for that Andy, I can see from the last image that the wheel blister appears to be a solid block to be shaped. Hopefully he hasn't deviated too much from this for the bigger one.
Appreciated.

Well that nice Mr Cantwell is downsizing his four stroke dept so decided to do the P47 after agreeing (Arm twisting) terms for the 180 off him.
Pity My Grey decided "SNAFU" would look better over the pond as I would have liked to have seen it to appreciate the size of the beasts.
