vickers wellington.... maybe? was created by Ex-Member
been thinking about next years big build.
i have thought many times about what to build and have a list of three now.
Hawker Fury
Gloster Gladiator
and now the Vickers Wellington
1/4 scale would give a 21ft wingspan   just wondering if it would even be possible to do in depron.
will have to see how the meteor turns out when i finish it this year.
anyway, first rough draft of the plans.
will take lots and lots of planning if i go ahead with it.
will have to stop building so many models in order to focus on finishing the meteor and devote some time to the plans for the wellington.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I think that's a bigger span than the full-size Pitts S2! [badass]
t'is! Just googled it -
Certified versions of the compact Pitts are now produced by Aviat in Afton, Wyoming. It is available as an S1 single-seater with an up to 200 hp (150 kW) flat-4 Lycoming engine and a 17 ft 4 in (5.28 m) wingspan, or as an S2 two-seater variant featuring a 260 hp (194 kW) flat-6 Lycoming and a 20 ft (6.1 m) wingspan. Pitts Specials have been equipped with engines of up to 450 hp (338 kW).[1]

As long as you use the Geodetic construction principle I can't see a problem Tony

A sharply tapered wing with over size ailerons might give a pronounced tip stall and spin.
