It can be done with two 30 mm EDFs.
32" span and 246 g with a 950 mAh 2s but it is rather an extreme construction exercise being Depron and tissue!
It flies nicely but duration is limited to 4 minutes max. Days like this don't happen often in the UK!
With its tiny EDFs screaming away at 30,000+ rpm it sounds about right too. In full ground effect the glide landing is a non event.

Well, that's promising. But I haven't used tissue since I was a kid. What do you glue it on with?
I suppose if you can do it with Canberra, I can do it with the Sparrowjet. But I suppose I should learn to fly confidently first! I have a large conventional trainer, a Pietenpol, a Spitfire, a Skystreak 32 in foam, a shoulder wing sports IC job and a glider electric conversion, so I probably have enough to be going on with! But I do want to do the Miles eventually.

This could be a build from a newer member and includes the discussion.
