Looks lovely, I will be asking for advice on the rigging when I get round to building my Puppeteer.

Somebody called me 'pretentious' the other day.

I nearly choked on my latte.

Very nice looking build Tony - and a good looking model. Pity though - it would look - and sound - so much better with an OS or Saito 4 stroke nitro engine up front. On a more serious note I've tried elastic thread for rigging in the past - didn't have good results with it - the bloody elastic thread kept stretching and/or going slack no matter how many times I re-tensioned it. I now use fishing trace wire for all my rigging.

the rigging is only decorative so if it does stretch its not the end of the world. :P
you could actually fly this without the wing struts as both wings are bolted on and don't move at all.

yeah this is a semi scale build, plus half the bits were missing and no plans, so it was a make it up as you go along job.
it will look something like a cirrus moth and be purple and light blue. :P

You seem to have a big tin of that colour and its ide ntical to the colour of a new Volvo Converible I saw a guy collecting from the showroom today. Its a good colour on your models on the car it looked to girly for a girl let alone the bloke driving it.

Anyone who drives a Volvo convertible of any colour would have to be a bit girly I think!   Oops - hope no one on here drives a Volvo convertible - with the possible exception of the Gasser - would match his tutu. :P :P :P Down here Volvos are only driven (slowly) by LOL on their way to lawn bowls.

I feel SO insulted, fancy laughing at my Volvo convertable Grumps. I must stress that I only use it when the Rolls is in for a refit to match the different Tutu colour I chose for that day :woohoo: :woohoo:

The Rolls Gasser?? That's the one that rolls down hill and can hardly get up again?? I have heard that RR have taken out a contract on you - what did you expect when you painted it nipple pink?? :P :P :P :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: And as for your choice of Tutu colour - do you REALLY think that orange goes with that Nipple Pink Rolls Canardly????
