Nickel Plating pistons was created by one tenor

Has anyone tried electroplating pistons with nickel to restore compression. Does it work and does it last?

I've not heard of plating the piston, but full-size combustion aircraft can have chrome-plated cylinder LINERS to absorb wear.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Some model engines have chrome lined cylinders on bras. they are known as ABC engines. The aluminium of the A is the piston.

I've never seen a piston engine with a bra on, O.T. :woohoo:
