Here you can post a brief or descriptive introduction about yourself. It is not compulsory but some members like to know a little about the person they're talking to.

In here i will effectively write a new post every time I've completed something. I like to keep our members informed as to what I am up to. Most recently I have created an SPF record for ModelChat which helps (not stops) our emails going to junk. There are many things I can do to stop our emails...

Let's keep this thread clear of trivia, please. If you know of, are part of, or have organised a model show, somewhere, post it on here, please. Name, location (postcode for a satnav if you know it) times, dates, who will be there. etc.

I read recently about advice given to someone about cleaning the ducts and ports etc in an engine after a lay up. The usual culprit castor oil was mentioned for gumming up but in the same breath they mentioned 3in1 oil as a co culprit. I have used 3in1 as an after run always and had no problems....

Maybe in the past 3in1 referred to three types of oil blended into one, including castor, but now the logo has changed to penetration/ lubrication/ protection? Only speculating. Agree don't use WD40 on engines - sticks better than old castor very quickly. Has wax in it AFAIK, which at least gives...

Not a break from filming RC but nice to be driving something a little different. Now I just want to go faster. Just tried out the Feilun FT-011 and thought it was awesome for a first time single hull boat. Fairly quick, good run time and the fact that it will self right if it flips is a big bonus....
