Welcome back to the magnificent obsession! Binding is one of those things that is never adequately covered in the stuff you get with the kit. Try this, Tx and Rx within 3' of one another. Switch on the TX, then while pressing the button on the RX, connect it to the battery. I find this is one of the rare occasions when SWMBO can actually help! This works for all my Orange stuff.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Before trying to bind, make sure you are physically well away from wifi transmitters, cctv transmitters, cordless headphone base units. computer cordless keyboards and mice, etc etc, they nearly ALL operate on 2.4.
Welcome back to this insane hobby.

For your information, Klippy is in South Africa, and Blackbird is in Cyprus. I'm a 'local', in Cheshire!
Can't suggest a club in Stoke, though.

Hi vmaxer
I assume you have a 2.4 module for one of your 35 meg Futaba Tx's.
Remember unlike 35 meg 2.4 has several different 'protocols' which are mutually exclusive so your 2.4 module has to to be compatible with the Orange rx protocol for it to work. Orange used to just make rxs for the 'Spektrum' protocol but now do make them for different 2.4 systems.
