My Christmas job was created by THE BLACKBIRD
As I don't do Christmas since my wife Ann died in found another job to do.
The guest toilet in the flat that Nat rents out.
The tenant is away for crimbo so if refurbish it
Spent two days rpiping it all out including the tiles, hope the mirror stays on the wall
Cleared all the waste away in my car err van
Only problem is the weather has been perfect for flying
I may go flying in the morning as it looks good for it

I hope you get it finished before the tenant gets back!

Last time I carried that sort of load down the tip in my car I got a hard time from the council 'overseer' (operation of the site is subcontracted out) saying I was operating 'commercially' and I should pay for a skip!
Took a bit of argument to convince I was DIY although to be fair the tip operators themselves didn't seem to be bothered.
Thanks: Eric

That's a problem I face EVERY time I go to the tip with (usually with enormous ex-hobbything) cardboard boxes the bin men won't take.
Why? As one or two of you know, I drive a little van, and they consider it to be commercial!
Why I drive a van is a long story, and one or two of you already know it - - need to know, etc! :-) [badass]

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Getting there slowly, actually it's killing me, the pain in all my joints
But I'm enjoying it ,fit the new wc and resin tomorrow hopefully
The tenant rang up yesterday from Switzerland wanting to know what was happening in the flat, asked how he knew he said he had told his friend in Nicosia he could use it over new year, for which he got a right bolloking I'm Nat, he's not allowed, and remove the guy forthwith

I'm sorry BB, maybe I'm going senile but I've read this part several times and just can't make it out. ... Who gave who a bollocking? .... What do you mean by, "I'm Nat, he's not allowed," ? And "remove the guy forthwith" .... Nobody's in the place are they, you've ripped out the bog? :woohoo:
Please tell me I'm not going daft?

What do you mean going daft  you have always been daft ;) :P
The tenant let the flat to his mate for the new year celebrations
, hes not allowed to do that, Natalia gave him a telling off, told him to leave immediately
There are two other bathrooms Pol
I put the mistakes down to age, today i can say that i will be 80 next year, christ where has the time all gone
Have a good new year pol and better health mate

That makes more sense, BB!
I don't know about Cyprus, but in the UK it is illegal to sub-let a rented place, without written permission - and a hike in the rent!

Pol, as BB put - you've always been daft! :woohoo:

Anyway it's all done now
Now I can rest, the kitchen is next on the list to be done
I don't think the tenant sub let it just allowed someone else vacant apartment. Still not allowed, very carefully who it let to, definately no Cypriots that's for sure
