You-tube -
It can be dead easy, it can be a right pain in the rear pipes.
First, you need an account (free) with the 'tube.
Then, I suggest you edit and convert your vid to a format that the tube will accept, to reduce the upload time from ages and ages to a long time! (depends on your upload speed!)
I use - VideoPad Video Editor - a free prog that is simple to use, once you figure out how it works.

Having edited and formatted 'off-air', you then have to open You Tube, and sign in with whatever method you chose, ie email, google, etc (blue text top right corner on my screen) . Ignore all the adverts, and look for the images top right - click on the little camera with the + sign in it, and then select upload video, and follow the instructions.
You'll eventually get a progress bar, and spaces to type in your title, text and any search links you fancy putting in, ie giraffe, desert, dead car, or whatever is relevant to the subject, separating them with a comma.
When the progress bar reaches 100%, the header will change to 'formatting', and the progress bar will do it's thing again - a lot quicker. Then things will stop while the tube processes the upload, followed by a loading wheel whizzing round, then three 'thumbnails - you can choose one to be your title pic by clicking it.
The tube will then tell you that your vid is active on - and displays a url.
Open that in a fresh window, and check the vid works properly. Save THAT url, not the one the tube gives you, and you can then use the second url to post to email, the forum, or wherever.

It seems a bit clumsy and ponderous, but once you get the hang of how it works, it is easy enough.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

As Eric says but this site has a "video" button which shows "Provider or Video". Click Provider and it lists them all, YouTube is at the bottom. All it then needs is the YouTube ID which is the string of characters after the = sign in the URL. This means you can copy and past the ID from the first URL that YouTube give as the ID is the same.

I too use Video Pad Video Editor simply because it not only allow you to crop the file to include only the bits you want but also allows you to save the camera or phone video into AVI or WMV format which YouTube readily accepts. My camera creates a brand of MOV file that YouTube says it does not recognise although it does load but it slow things down quite a bit even on our super fast fibre connection.;)

That's a very different problem!
Try sending it to yourself on your email client, then copy or drag/drop it from there on your mainframe computer to the editor.

Due to ongoing bandwidth problems (my excuse and I'm sticking to it) I asked a good friend of mine to do it! But thanks.
