Well the forcasters didnt get the time of the rain right, it came an hour earlier than forcast, but so what!!!. Light wind 8 degrees and only 2 other members there. Clear and bright till the clouds came, but very enjoyable.

still waiting for dawn to rise above the clouds! Rained all day so far. Going darker - can't say going dark, because it never got light!

Been flying, it was warm about 20 deg ,sunny, had to have the sunglasses on,light wind and the field to myself, its hard here.

Sounds ideal wind rain and dull here in sunny Hampshire

Made the effort to go flying but didnt get anything out,dull windy and spitting with rain .Watched a brand new Foamy Wot get destroyed and decided it was a day best for chatting.

Got back from flying at 2.30 pm, and it started pissing down at 3.0 pm. Talk about good timing. A stiff breeze and overcast, but got some good flying in. Only 2 peeps there, but enjoyed it. Might go tomorrow if rain holds off, as all lipos are now recharged. Those 2 Quattro chargers are the best thing I have bought for a long time.

Just back from flying and very exhilerating it was.Very windy but in the right direction.Had 5 flights with the Swift but on the last flight my hands became to cold and started feeling a bit chilly so decided I had had enough fun.Although the landings required a lot of power coming in the wind also stopped them model very quickly.The take offs needed all of my attention and the second one was " interesting".As the Swift took off a gust of wind turned it sharp left it was up to about 8 feet when the sharp left went to upside down,and in a continuing manouvre turned into a U turn which had it taking off down wind.I just stayed with it kept gaining height and got it back into wind.And regained full control.Ive never seen anyone take off like that and keep some semblence of control and realistically the wind was a bit strong.But I had an incredible time with the model doing turns sideways and various antics with it going with the wind.It was exciting and exhilerating and I reckon you learn a lot more flying in this type of wind that at any other time.I did have the Gambler with me but thought it safer left in the car.The Swift is very forgiving and allows you to get away with a lot.

Like Stephen, had a fab flying day. Very windy, but blue skies wall to wall Got 9 flights in, but came to my 10 th and the DX 7 would not connect to the model. Strange as I had just flown it not 10 mins ago. Then the battery alarm went off on the TX LOW BATTERY!!!. As It had been on charge for 12 hrs, I knew that was not the prob, so put a meter on the pack, and it appears a cell has gone in the TX battery pack. I have had this TX for 2 yrs + and it was second hand when I bought it. Thank goodness It didnt go in mid flight. Thought it was time for home, something was telling me so, but still a great day
