My opinion is no to rattle cans and glow fuel.
Methanol, and Nitro even more so, are constituents of paint remover which will attack acrylic and many other paints given time.
Its Polyurethane based paints that are resistant to glow fuel. Two part paints which use a catalyst give the best possible resistance.
