So i believe, just be weary of fake spektrum receivers as there are plenty about from Amazon to Ebay, always buy from reputable dealers.

With regard to the pictures, I'm showing a module that can be plugged into the back of a transmitter that has a module socket, not all TXs have them. you need to check your TX.

Thanks, as someone completely new to this, I didn't know what the function of a 'module' was, but Mr Google helped me out, I think. With regard to the pictures, I'm showing a module that can be plugged into the back of a transmitter that has a module socket, not all TXs have them. you need to check your TX.

Just a "heads up"
Although I said the BX8e works with both DSM2 and DSMX it is worth check that your does. In the EU a transmitter using the DSM2 protocal is no longer allowed to be sold so the transmitter makers "tweek" them so they only work on DSMX for sale in the EU. If you try a DSM2 receiver it won't work. The manual should tell you if your tranmitter is DSM2 capable.
When we were in the EU the same applied in the UK but since BREXIT DSM2 capable transmitters can be sold again. An extraodinary situation.
I only raise this issue as the older DSM2 receivers are very cheap.
I would suggest you only use DSMX receivers as they have much better anti interference capabilities, best in the world according to Spektrum adverstising!. ..
