Yesterday after 2 flights the exhaust was blowing again and the silicon tube had split again.Ive decided whats happening is the bend is to much and the exhaust splits when the silicon gets hot and the exhaust pressure splits it on the bend.Ive straightened the bend out by moving the second silencer outside of the cowl so the silicn tube is now a straight run to the second box.Tuesday should see if this is successful

3 good flights today and the exhaust seems ok.The model felt vague and I put it down to the Harmon Rocket but on the 2nd flight felt it was more vague than usual. For the 3rd flight i increased ailerons by 20% andrealised I didnt have rudder aileron mix so swith it on.Flew superbly and was very happy with the response on the 3rd flight

Didnt get a flight today. Some newbies arrived and I was the only one there. The chairman had left and we sat chatting in the caravan for over an hour, interesting man.In to free flight but has around 190 model aircraft.Started my model fine and taxied out but as the grass is long and bouncy kept having to turn the model this way and that.Opened up for the first take off and the engine stopped.2nd attempt turned the model in the direction I wanted and caught the prop and stalled.3rd attempt lifted the back end to turn it in the right direction, pulled the model towards me to make a groove in the grass and the stabiliser was off, easily repaired.

Found the big wheels and there the same size so unless I use the Fun Cub wheels Ill stick with what I have.I cleaned the spray bar last night but it seemed if I let the Laser warm up more it performed better.Met my friend Mike at the field today and we caught up on things and each had 3 flights.I had 2 deadsticks and put it down to the cold as the engine started and was fine when on the ground. Not using the vertical stabiliser to turn the model round as I think thats why it broke.Especially with the ground as it is at present.Enjoyed my day with Mike.

Sporting its new windscreen and spinner and ready for the field.Ive also modified the exhaust.I keeping getting the silicone tube blowing so I founs some metal pipe which fits inside both silencers and Ive fitted silicone tube over that so we will see how it goes.
