to clear the tank issue up .The carb is pumped so the trank doesnt need pressurising so itll be a 3 pipe tankclunk to carb fill pipe ans vent which is also used to see when tank is full. And thanks for the tip BB my truck is specifically for model flying but will ensure vent is blocked inb between journeys to flying field.Ive now received everything to carry on with the build once this stinker of a cold has gone
Thanks: boz

Fix a label on your filling pump to remind you to take the bung out of the vent pipe, other wise you will blow the fuel tank, don't say you will remember to take it out, one time you wont
Ask me how I know, I have a red label on the vent bung and one on the fill pump,

i couldnt find a small enough drill bit suitable for clearence holes for the screws for servo and servo mount. Finally I visited Homebase and everything of course had been moved .Finally found what I needed and a good price for about 10 of each ,05 ,1,1.5 2 ,2.5 and 3 mm all in a container for £6.99 so I bought 2.I then bought 2 lamps but no bulbs a cordless drill but no charger and a torch with charger lead but no charger. Its all a proffesional rip off
After a shop and dinner I managed to fir servos into 1 wing so going along steadily still researching a muffler

ive successfully fitted the servos for the ailerons and flaps into the wings .I think a muffler has been sourced and is in stock at Horizon hobbies so it looks like the engine may be fitted by or over Christmas. The next job is to fit the support frame that holds the wings on.A lot of my problem is reading the instructions as Ive bought lighting for this but have nowhere to put it where I sit so have to sit at the table but dont have room there for everything as the wings are so big.So I need to read and understand the instructions then put them out of the way to do the job.At the moment I havent even found the relevant place where it explains what to do next.I had to search through several containers to find screws to hold the servo mounts into the wings as only half the screws were supplied in the kit.Strangely I have dozens of Phillp screw drivers but always find trouble finding one that works I invested £25 in 2 snap on screwdrivers and there useless.I did have a cheap screw driver appeared from nowhere and was perfection but as is the norm it also disapeared the same way it appeared.I mentioned I bought a new small electric cordless drill but wasnt supplied wirh a battery or charger .The drill £28 the charger £20 the battery £49 .I think as Im used to paying so much for lipos I bought the lot but now my £28 drill cost me £97 bargain. At work someone showed me a similar type of drill but paid £300 ,made me happier

There are drills Mr Beard and then there are good drills, I always used Makita they lasted for years and I used them all day every day, I used to fit three kitchens a week on my own, for years
For Christ sake buy yourself one of the cheep plastic mobile tool stacks, so you can organise your tools you use for modelling in the top box and also the bits and pieces you use for modelling in the lower boxes

That's excellent advice BB and Beard should heed it.
Maybe I should too!

Do it now, you may never get another chance
