Agreed. It always seemed logical to me to put the ailerons and elevator on the same 'stick' ,RH, as in full size even though I am technically left handed.
As a keen sim 'joystick' pilot I also get pretty used to 'twisting' the stick for rudder! A fully coordinated turn then seem a very natural action.:P

Mode 2 for me, too. That's the way I was taught, and that's the way I teach.
I can fly mode 1 if I really have to, but it seems so alien and awkward, I'd rather not! It's most embarrassing when you open the throttle for some power, and the model tries to bunt! (Especially when during the last two vertical feet of a landing approach!)

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Mode 1 is throttle/aileron on the right, rudder/elevator on the left. It's the correct way to fly and you all need to change right now...
Gary.
The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into....

Nice to see you still around Gary, it's always nice to see an old stager popping in.

@Ausmodeller - is that a hire boat, or your live-aboard home?

One thing that is sure about all this rain today - Aus won't be bothered - as the water level rises, so will his home! [badass]
