glad the interlocking design allows it to be dry fitted before committing to the glue.
when it's finished I'll take some close ups to show the details a little better.

The way I've done it is to attach the ribs with the spar "in the air" before propping the inner panel up at the appropriate angle and packing the root rib of the tip (at the spar only) to 3/16 , this allowed the tip of the spar to just touch the board, I then moistened the spar and attached the trailing edge, again that's notched into the ribs, with 3/32 packing under the t/e of the last rib and it's l/e on the board it allowed the spar to gently twist, with the laminated leading edge glued and pinned into place it effectively locks in the twist.
Apparently when flown as free flight it was quite common to incorporate wash out on one panel and wash IN on the other to encourage the model to climb in a spiral!

Had a change of mind and using pull/pull rather than the planned snakes, using 12lb braid, no stretch at all but it can cut so I've ran it all through ptfe bushes glued to the formers.
a bit fiddly but got there in the end!
Also laid up some fibreglass flat stock, bits on the left are for the control horns, bit on the right is for a hatch to allow access to the rx and battery, will fit in the appeture below the rudder servo shown in the first photo, needs a hingeing and a catch.

Only ever used nylon once before maybe 25-30 years ago so it's a bit of learning curve as it behaves differently to.my normal material, decided to iron it on dry rather than dopping it on wet.
slow work ( 7 hours) but the wing is now covered and ready for a coat of dope.
I'll sand off any hairy bits once it's sealed..

Did you search Ebay for dress lining? That's usually polyester nylon and comes in different colours.
