You may need to raise the nose to get an initial lift ... but it is effectively a flying wing & have you checked the COG on this calculator?

I need some help with setting up the controls on the SR, i need to have all four surfaces going up for take off, the elevators and the ailerons with the ailerons still working as ailerons.
I have got the elevators and the right hand aileron working correctly but cannot get the left hand aileron to come up with the others, it go's down.
There must be a way of doing it but!!! got the people here stumped as well :S
Christ Pol thats above my head

Sounds like you need a reverse lead on it,as if the servo is going in the wrong direction

Klipkopwildlife wrote: Remember BB, you have only airspeed air over the control surfaces so it has to be at flying speed before you have any control! The other thing is, I suspect you're going to have to take those intake cones off!
Another thing, if it ever spins, just put the TX on the ground and watch the party! It will never recover!
Another thing, have you got a bit of reflex on those elevons? It's essentially a flying wing.

ahahaha! :woohoo: Nothing like some preflight nerves ay BB ;) Looks like a really nice model BB!

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

I try and make my flying as easy as I can, without being boring,a bit of a challenge without being to difficult. It seems you enjoy having a major challenge to beat BB.I drive my car up a hill to get home, whilst you climb Everest.

Been working on the SR today lifted the nose higher by 17mm that gives it a positive angle

And i have all 4 control surfaces coming up at the same time so if the weather stays good i will take it out this weekend

Also checked the ballance again
Tail heavy before the lipo's go in

With the lipo's sitting on the underside of the fuselage in the position they go in it balanced spot on

Just a thought Tony, that CoG looks very far forward to me. Knowing you it'll be spot on in terms of the plan! Have you tried a recalculation on one of the better CoG calculators?
Awesome work though, rock on!

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Hi Klipy it is spot on with the plan but the plan has had so many errors in it i dont know
The C/G on the plan is where the main wheels should be if true scale
Where i have placed the pliers is where the C/G is and that is where the wheel should be they were moved back on the plan for better ground handling

It would deffinately take off better with the wheels on the C/G
