If those floors are solid reinforced concrete it would also be mildly bomb proof!

Yes it is still under construction but has not had anything done to it since the crisis hit us caused by the EU
That Simon is how everything in Cyprus is built, my villa in the North was just the same
It is to withstand earthquakes, as we are in an earthquake zone, we have had a lot since I have lived here
But the earth did not move for me, I have never felt one of them
Thanks: Quorneng

The dog came to see me today again but I cleared him off, also found his owners house so I went and had a quite word in his ear  told him to keep his dog away as the bill I will send him is at 2000 euros at the moment and dose he want it to be more, or maybe the courts [badass] [badass]
He did not wave to me when I left and passed his house ;)

Now with the advent of Cyprus letting in the scum of Europe house crime has increased and my new hanger will be away from the house
SOOO I was thinking of rigging up some sort of alarm system using infrared beam around the property to trigger something to deter the buggers from entering
Like it will automatically unlock the door of the gage and let the very hungry and angry Rottweiler out
Looking for ideas
Thanks

Better if it lets them in, then bolts the doors, and extracts ALL the air!

Alarm systems that communicate to you via the Cellular (Mobile) network are very reasonable these days, and the Passive sensors are wireless!

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Went to make a start on the new hanger this morning, make up the shuttering for the concrete to support the walls and its rained all bloody morning, waited for them to deliver a lorry load of ballast for the concrete, so I worked through the rain got wet through and they never turned up, got a bit done so not wasted the day, how these bloody people stay in business I don't know, they never do anything they say they are going to do, packed in at 2 o- clock drenched
Got a new mixer to mix the twenty tons of concrete, a new long handled shovel :woohoo:
Hoooo my back

BB like me works by himself, I imagine 1 man can't work 1 load of Readymix by himself, I certainly couldn't, and I'm younger than BB!

Car keys - keep them in your pocket, then she can't 'borrow' it!
'
Wet concrete - the hardest part is keeping the local animals off it while it sets! I did a one-bag patch by my garden side gate, to replace a wobbly old cracked flag. When I came down in the morning, there were several rows of cat's boot-prints in it! :S
