No, Tony, you can't have a slice of my scuba wetsuit! (It's a bit thick anyway, at five milli's!)

well after gardening and some house work i got to spend a couple of hours on the Auster.
doors fitted.
sliding windows in
rear seat and luggage glued in.
need to paint the window frames, fit some matting, finish the dash and then fit the last bits of structural wire.
then i can look at the u/c and cover her.
back to the wings now i suppose.

as my funds are very tight over the next couple of months, i will only be doing little bits as i can afford to do them so the build will slow down even more.
i apologize for the delays. :(

No need to apologize Tony, you're not the only one to be financially challenged, I have to watch my pennies through a microscope.

That interior looks better than the inside of my car, will it have an ash tray & a beer glass holder? ... you're a stickler for detail Tony, I'll say that for you. ;)

slopped some white paint over the rivets and left to dry.
will do another coat another day.
i hope to sort the lower strut mounts out on monday after i have sorted the workshop out.
i think i will order some 3mm piano wire to use to make up the struts and then cover them with balsa to get the right shape.

Well after a short break i thought i best do some more.

deep breath and cut some aluminium channel to make the u/c mounts.
roughly in place, need some small screws now.

then i took another deap breath and bent the rear part of the legs.
the shorter bit runs under the fuselage to where the rubber suspension bungies fit.

need to drill some small holes to take the pivot bolts next and then i will bend the front legs.

ooooo eeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
