The intakes now look more than adequate, can I suggest you put card liners inside the intakes to channel the air towards the fan? My apologies if you were going to anyway!:)

yup lining them is the next job after the wings are done, then we can blend them into the wing and fuselage.

Trying to think 2 steps ahead is hard work, building from plans is so much easier.

the sevo's for the elevator and rudder will have to sit ontop of the fuselage with the cases dropping down into the space between the edf supports, then a false top to the full length of the fuselage to cover the servo's and snake runs will be built.
esc ,rx and battery in the nose to help with the balance.

still worried about u/c though.

TN has a new turbine trainer he's doing i saw it at the nats and it looks similar to yours but not as well built, :P :P

the build quality on this one is carp as there is no point building a beautiful plane if it dont work.:P
we can always buff it up after the cover and in the paint stage if it flies.

a little bit early, but i need to run more balsa over the tail area when i run the snakes, so this bit will not be easy to cover later.

well the twin weighs the same as the mkI.
so performance should be the same.
the edf will be underpowered i think, so flying that will be fun.

Ive seen EDF models at our field all noise and no go.On your design it should look fine but on a jet fighter it looks all wrong.

Take one deagostini spitfire canopy, cut the back off and voila canopy for the edf.
