As I've never used pla, I can't comment on that - BUT - Araldite is heavy and goes brittle, while I understand that pla is a bit flexible, so you might be introducing a shear line where the araldite stops.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I'd go with medium Cyano without kicker so it can run in a bit.

Remember you have to use foam safe CA on foam.
I have found using foam safe CA is not as effective foam to PLA as ordinary CA is joinng LW-PLA.
I do agree with Eric that whilst Araldite is srong it is also brittle. ALW-PLA and foam structure will give quite a bit under load.
There could be a danger that an Araldite joint will simply break away from the foam..   .
