Flaps and ailerons are covered now, need 2 more coats of sealer and we can paint them.
Doing the flap servo mounts at the moment.
Then thats it till after Christmas.
need to order retracts, oleo legs and wheels and we can finish the wing.
Back on the Lancaster in January.

glued the elevators on and screwed the canopy on.
then we got the wing out and took a look at the ailerons, well after lots of fafing about i got them working, but in the end decided the bellcranks and center servo was just not working right.
so i have cut big holes in the wing and removed all the gubbings, going to retro fit servo's in the wing for the ailerons.
flap servo's fit ok and work.
then i cut a hole in the wing for the first retract unit.
works, but the oleo leg is a bit too thick and jams the retract unit shut, so i will need to file a flat on the top of the leg for clearance.
need some 4inch wheels next so i can sort out the wheel wells.
we are getting there with this one.
i recon two weeks will see it all done.

then i fitted the ailerons.
after that we did some more to the retracts.
needs bigger wheels and a tail wheel, but you get the idea.
bit stuck now until the wheels and servo's turn up.
i can fit the flaps next though.
