A tiny scale plane

The Cessna really has the most benign handling characteristics allowing 'low and slow' manoeuvres that would spell disaster for many of my other planes. Having its extreme but torque less thrust on tap helps a bit!
An edited video of some spirited flying today.

The full flight was along the same lines and lasted just short of 20 minutes. Landing is safe enough but a bit untidy.

Such a performance would be nothing unusual for a light weight foamy but it is not quite what you might expect from a scale twin.

Just had to make use of the rather nice weather to fly the Cessna a bit harder and faster.

Quite a bit of wind - it practically hovers.
Apart from having some fun (half loop to inverted and a bunt out!) I was trying to detect if the flexibility of the tail booms had any effect at higher speeds.

My big fear is that when pushing the wing fast at very low angles of attack the centre of pressure might rapidly move and place a load on the tailplane beyond the stiffness of the booms to resist resulting in a sudden and catastrophic pitch up or down.

Still not a absolutely full chat but so far so good and a nice bounce on landing!.
