Really enjoying this one mate, one of my all time favourites and an a/c which I can never decide is better looking than the Hunter, the guy who flew the RNHF one, Pat Barnes, I am acquainted with says it is a lovely aeroplane and a joy to fly.
I only wish I could find the link he gave me for the cockpit view of his display.
Keep at it Tony it will end up as another of your stunning models. :)

Now that I am older it seemed nice I have more patience.

well i have finished covering the ailerons and put the last coat of sealer on the rudder and elevators.

i will paint the rudder next i think.

that will be it now till after Christmas.

rudder is painted.
tops of elevators are painted
tops of ailerons are painted.

sanded the rear of the fuselage down today and made up the tail plane fairing. :)

no pics as there is nowt worth showing.
it's boring and dull stuff really.

today i sanded the top of the fuselage and the wings and have stuck two bits of tissue down. "WOW" :P

i need a new esc before i can finish it off, but for now i can start painting the top of the fuselage.

need to play with markings next, well after a second coat of paint anyway. :P

Leave the paint like that - realistically scuffed and used, sun and salt-faded! :P

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

grabbed some time today and did some more to the canopy.



needs sanding back a little bit more and then sealing.

hinged the rudder, ailerons and elevators as well.



need to finish the nose cone next, its carved to shape and i am now sealing the surface.
