BB
i may be wrong but it looks like the small screw marked is intended to hold the ally back plate onto the prop hub over its retaining nut.

Just as well you took a high def picture that allowed the considerable blow up.
I am guessing there is a hole in the spinner nose to insert the screw and tighten it up onto the prop hub.
If that is so then there is no need to remove the spinner so it is permanently fixed to the ally back plate and is not removable.

Of course if there is no hole in the spinner nose then you are right and the spinner will have to come off the back plate!

I suspect you have assembled it in the wrong order.
It should go - motor -  alloy back plate onto the tapered clamping cone, then the folding prop, then the driver washer and prop nut, then the plastic spinner cone, and finally a screw down the centreline.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I assembled it correctly it just resisted all moderate attempts to come apart so i got more violent with and it popped off
I squeezed it in, had to break the for top of the fuse for better access

cooling might be an issue but it will not be doing long runs and there are no cooling holes on the motor like an out runner, if theres a problem ill make some vents
Doing an idea i have for it, spraying the airframe black and covering with coloured film

All connected to the model

Bit of making good with fill on the top and bottom

In runners do get hot as many rely on just dissipating heat from the outer motor casing as a result they need a lot of air over it.
Totally enclosed as yours is the question will be how much will it be able to cool down between runs.
It could be so long it will only allow one run and then have to stand down for 20+ minutes

I hope I am just being over cautious but the magnets don't like getting hot..

My goodies turned up this morning on time, i have to say that dealing with FlyingTech was an absolute pleasure, the boss man Will kept me informed of every step and was prompt and polite on all matters,
i can highly recommend him

The 2 little black parts in the bag i suspect are links of some kind ?

Definitely shorting links to enable something in the TX, best read the instructions.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Haven't seen those with my Taranis gear.
If they are like (aaargh) Spektrum, they are the binding plugs!
Why did you decide to buy from a re-seller, though, and not the importer - T9Hobby?

Because T9 did not have the stock !!! and i liked the way the man dealt with me and his prices are good, having had the experience with the Leeds model shop and 4 Max who i still have not heard from
Klipy the instructions that come with both the Tx and the Rx are very limited almost shockingly so, compared to both the Tx iv had before Futaba abd AAAGH spektrum there is no mention of those 2 parts, in fact there is very little of anything, and the people of China must have very good vision because the writing on the bit of paper you do get is so small my eyes have difficulty reading it

Can't argue with that, Tony - just had a look, and it is. It appears to be an older model, as there are lots of others!
But I did find the manual for you - www.t9hobbysport.com/products?c=/taranis...3-access-user-manual
