It might work if the elements were in the sides behind slotted shield plates. like a domestic oven. This would give convected heat with no direct radiation. A domestic oven be fine if you could find one big enough

Anything will fly given enough power

I glassed this canopy and also the glider and the glider nose

Then when I came to take moulds off ?

The glider one was perfect, the same with the nose mould
But the A10 canopy mould would not budge,

So I had to destroy the plug to get it out

Got there in the end, it was stuck at the top,

Yes Simon that was the intention in case I mucked it,up with the heat, I am going to make a fibre glass plug to use in the vac
I have already cleaned it, just got a couple of scratches to fill

I have done the mould for the canopy so this morning I did the plug that will go into the vac box

I will now reinforce it inside to keep it's shape
Did not come out to bad, needs a few pin holes filling and a couple of coats of paint

Here we go again.
Sent the new fibre glass canopy plug to spec, guess what it's no good
Don't know what their vac machine is but it must be one powerfully tool, as he says it might crush it
Now I could stand on it,it is that strong
He's talking solid plaster again, but the plaster one I sent was no good, wrong plaster he said
This canopy.has cost me £ 50 just in postage up to yet and I'm no.further on than when I started last year

Slec emailed me this morning saying my canopy for the A10 was ready yippee
Then I looked at the invoice gulp

I don't like to use other people in my builds but having failed to pull the canopy myself before I came here I thought I would try Slec again while here
Not expecting the charge to be as high
Have no choice now, but once it's flying perhaps it won't hurt so much

I now have the canopy

In fact I have two, they must have pulled one and it split, but only on the part that will be cut off so I can use the one for the frame
The other one was pulled in thicker material, they are ok (better than I did LOL, but not perfect,there are marks in the plastic,
Think I'll live with that, they must have had a problem pulling them
Maybe the size or my plug ???

How do you do that, I put in A10 Thunderbolt and got nothing plus The Cyprus A10 thunderbolt and several other ways nothing

Now I have the canopy and i have also just received the graphics for it

Got them from Callie Graphics in the USA, came within a week of ordering, look very good quality and at 40 dollars including post and packaging good value as they are quite large 1/6th scale
