I think you would also have to include a simple 3 dimensional sketch to show exactly where each bit fits in the inlet ducts and probably the same for the exhausts as well..

plus i think i will have to make the top side of the duct wider as the intake has a rearwards angle on the bottom.
but the aim is to make it a semi scale model so it does not have to be spot on shape wise.

60 of them
and they fit with no trimming to fit.
glued 30 on so far and will finish them off tomorrow, then i can cut the intermediate ribs and make up the rear spars.
hope to have the wings done by the weekend as i have no plans to draw up this month.

set the hinge blocks into the elevators as well, they will have 6mm balsa leading edges glued to either side of the core and then 6mm depron riblets before sheeting with 3mm depron sheet.
i suppose i could cut holes between ll the ribs to save a small amount of weight yet. hmmmmmmmmmmm

glued in the aileron servos.
made the jet outlet tubes ( i hope)
and that's it for today.
now i need to draw everything onto the plan and we can call that it for today.
Tomorrow i hope to get the undersides of the wings sheeted, the edf unit in and the two fuselage halves finally joined together.
then i can fit the wings and flair them into the fuselage and finish off the jet outlets.
maybe over the weekend i will get the rudder and elevator servos fitted and the final sheeting done.
have to run up the edf then and see how much oompf it will have and whether it will be able to fly.

that's it really.
just means you don't have to have big expensive motors and servos in the model.

the fuselage halves are sticking.
the wings fit and look square and level.
need to fit the esc and test the motor later, then i can finish sheeting the fuselage and fit the wings permanently and then blend them in.
run the servo wires from the rudder and elevator servos, built the tailplane/ elevators, finish the ailerons, make the battery tray, mold a canopy, cover and paint it. phew.

588gms or 1lb 5oz this is with a lander metal edf and two servos fitted.
so we have 2 more servos, esc, battery, rx and the rest of the sheeting, cover and paint to add.
so i am hoping for around the 3lb mark in flying trim.
not too shabby for a 52" wingspan model.
