1000 watts
1.73kg thrust.

Should be but much is going to depend on the effect that bifurcated ducting has on the performance of the fan. ;)

well they are secure and i can hold up the model by the wingtips with no flexing. :)

now comes the fun part of designing the wing fairings, now if it was just for me i would bodge something together.
but as it will have a plan, i need to design a set that can be easily built by others.
thinking cap has been put on. :P

need a new esc for it. the one i have has no bec so i would have to add one and that means more weight.

getting a tad heavy now at 786gm without battery, covering and paint.

hmmmmmmm
been working on the battery box this aftrnoon, gone for a balsa/depron composite to try to keep the weight down.

I am sure that composite plate will be remarkably strong but I am not quite sure why you need it.
With Depron even a modest crash will cause damage to the airframe so does it actually matter if the LiPo battery box breaks up?
Depron itself is too soft to puncture a LiPo.

i just worry about the battery breaking free that's all.

plus it will give a little more strength to the nose area. :)

Are you at the point where you could fire up the EDF with the Sea Hawk nose down on some scales to measure the thrust?
