Well let's keep it nice and friendly boys and girls, www.modelflying.co.uk/
is not our competitor...just like any other flyer they should be our friends.

I'll be flying with BEB in the summer, I'm joining his club Wirral Radio Control Flying Society

I'm sure we'll get on together.

I hope to be back flying with Timbo at the Orme ...

We just disagree on a few things...but it's no reason to fall out.:cheer:

Pol.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

May come up and join you on the Orme for an afternoon Phil if we can coordinate it, wife has mentioned a few times she would like to go up but everytime she went to Llandudno she had her mom with her and couldnt do it.
Its only about 90 minutes run from here so chuck a bit of kit in the back and an overnight bag and we can have a long weekend up in Llandudno and scrap some wood while I am at it.
Thanks: Phil Wood

Then what we need Rock is someone like you to come on in here and start the thing going.
I could refer you to a site where you can talk about First person view, and I'll do so.

www.modelflying.co.uk/

These are good but they don't tolerate any adult language.....you can't even say "Crap"

"Crap" is just something that is often said on telly.......in between the sh**e they broadcast.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

Powerless Poly is me (Polyphilla) but registered as a standard member so that I can see the system the way everyone else does.
It's far more complex viewed from the admin bench.....we even have a staff room.
We obviously expect to need staff if the place gets busy (Fingers crossed)

Phil.

Haha!! We've found our whipping boy lads! Powerless Poly is quite literally a toothless dragon so be sure to give him some flak whenever he posts :P

Now now Phil, using your admin account to retaliate isn't in the spirit of Powerless Poly baiting so just take it like a man :woohoo:

gee kiwi wrote: I remember after you left the other side phil they replaced you with another moderator . He modded me one night for refering to a product as crap. In NZ it means the same as where you are and is betterb then saying a poor product only good for a dunny.
The best part was when he PMed me and i replied asking why crap was such a offensive
word he sent back quite an offensive reply about my nationality and how our ancestors arrived here in the first place..... HMMM double standards .

Speaking as an ex-moderator of "the other place" I'd like to just point out it wasn't me!

The Beard wrote: My son recently bought a slow cooker.Put a casserole in it when you leave the house, walk in in the evening .lovely cooking amell.delicious casserole ready for tea.My son eats rather a lot,so although Ive been supplying the ingrediants,Ive been only gett ing one meal out this big pot.I put the meal on myself this morning, beef casserole.Really delicious.my son puts the rest into containers and eats it during hid day at the gym.He leaves a meal in the pot for breakfast!!!!.I just went downstairs for a snack.I couldnt believe my eyes..This gret grizzly bear was in the kitchen and was finishing the rest of the delicious casserole!!!Do you think my son will believe me,off to work very early in the morning, just going to wash the bear(d)s dish to eliminate the evidence OOOPS

How slow can these things cook? Reason being I'm often out of the house for 12 hours during a working day, so although I like the idea of returning to a ready-to-eat casserole, 12 hrs is a long time to leave something unattended. Is there a risk the thing would dry out and catch fire or is slow cooking for many hours viable?

Got a link to the slow cooker you use Beard?

I was going to say "You haven't met my missus have you?"
Now I don't just talk to myself, I EDIT MYSELF !!!!!
