Gardening was created by THE BLACKBIRD

Two things in life I do NOT like doing is painting and gardening :angry:

And this is one of the reasons I don't like gardening
Remember the jungle we got with the house

And how I slaved to get it cleared

Well since my accident crimbo eve this is how it is now

Some years ago a friend of mine came up with the ideal description of gardening - 'All it is is something to which you have to devote a totally disproportionate amount of time, effort and money for the result that you achieve'.

Gardening - I wrote, ages ago, that it was where you had a patch of land with free plants growing in it, which you dug up. Then into that land you put expensive plants that don't like it there - and try to keep them alive!

I'm with firewood, put a couple of us up in your "little shed" feed us fill us up with wine, and give us a spade and fork , oh and a paint brush, boz

Our two orchids like the sunny window, they have flowered early this year.

They look the same but are different, we have a third but it has not flowered so far , it's the second year but no luck yet, the other two are three years old, thanks for looking, boz

If I could get over there my friend I would, just back from peru, but Mrs b would do the painting, I would do the eating and drinking.
