Ammo boxes sounds like a good idea :) , the bag I bought was about £6 if I recall, they do take up less space, but I did not know they were no good after use.

It looks like the lipo was about burned out when BB extracted it, and only one cell went up.
They don't burn for very long, but they DO burn very fiercely, like a magnesium flare.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

You remark that you charges you last 2 Turnigy Lipos 'the whole day' This doesn't ring right for me, I plug my Lipos into the charger, tell the charger what size it is, press go (enter) and some time later the charger bleeps and the charging is finished. For a 2200mAh out of the Funcub it's about 45mins.
Another thing, if any Lipo is under a certain minimum voltage the charger will refuse to charge it, saying 'connection break'. A 3 cell Lipo can often be recovered by putting it on a Pb charge for a few minutes, just enough to lift the voltage above the minimum, whatever that may be, and then switching back to 3s Lipo charge.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Then I would definitely say it's your charger that's giving you grief, best bin it. I have an iMax which works well, only one at a time though. My other charger is the one that came with my Nemo, only charges through the balance lead, 2s or 3s, but doesn't take much longer than the iMax.

Certainly did no harm and seems to have helped in your case. I have seen where Nitrogen and Foam extinguishers did not work tho'. Pleased for you result.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.
