Im thinking VPS rather yhan dedicated. The server is reliable its kust getting battered haha. The best i can do at the moment is code everything in a way where it is more efficient.

I can't really say anything significant, as I was away all Friday and half of Sat, but it seems to be working ok, as far as I can tell. It was the normal very slow last night, but that was prob my overstuffed nearly broadband.

This has got to be a hard one for Mike to deal with ... he's trying to give us a shit hot service at zero cost.
We could cough up the dosh & have our own server ... then we could pay an expert to maintain the place. Mike does it all for bugger all.
You just do what you think fit Mike ... if it takes cash, ... let us know what you need.
I'm not arsed if live chat does a load of multiple posts, I'll live with it! .... take as long as you need Mike & shut down anything you need to at any time.
You've built a damn good site & it's battering its rivals ..... a bit of upset during maintenance isn't going to kill us....... Thanks son.

Very very minor gripe - chatroom won't stay scrolled up while I read what has been said previously. It keeps jumping back to the last comment, after about two seconds.

keep the scroll button pressed, it stays where it is, but its not possible to read all the script, it will revert back to last post when released, i will try it out---when i am able to get back in,

now then, about this get back in bit, do you forum owners have ANY ideas what has gone wrong?? feeling frustrated it does seem strange that the usual ones are in there, and i cannot get access, along with sky, wots it all about alfie??

I must admit to being totally stumped on your and Sky s prob Alan, you seem to be doing everything right and your name appears in the box ????. Just wondering if Team View would help at all?
