each side is laced with one bit of thong fed through each hole as needed.
fitted the suspension cross wires today.
then i clad the rear legs.
and now i am gluing the dummy engine in place.
i made up a spacer so i could use the prop nut to hold the engine in place while the glue sets.
we plod on slowly.

Its tricky rigging but it's going to look great when you've done it

covered the nose section with tissue and three coat of sealer, being hot the sealer dried very quickly.
then i sat down and started adding some chrome builders tape to the nose section to try and simulate the alloy hood.
not great, but it will do me.
might look better once i have added the hinges and catches.
we live and learn something new every day.

printed out and fitted the lower fuselage rigging points.
from what i can see on the pictures the two upper wires run to one fitting at the main spar point in the fuselage.
need to repair the fuselage where i had to open it up to gain access.
now i can start looking at the wing struts.
all the fittings for the rigging have been ordered now, so very soon i will have a fully rigged airframe.
Thank you for watching

I have made up the wing strut cores.
metal posts glued into balsa cores, when all set i can then sheet them in Depron and sand to shape.
dihedral is within 2mm difference each side, mind you once i get the rigging made up i will be able to tweek it every time i assemble the model at the flying field.
So, i am waiting for all the rigging parts to turn up now.
