Well i bought the nylon and shrinking dope when i first started the first model so im going to use it, the Crusader is the model i won loads of competitions with in the 60s so its a journey down memory lane for me so ill do it how i used to, the Merco 35 going in it was my go to motor at the time, so lets keep it the same
I put a coat of dope on the airframe, i did the underside in the shed with the door open but christ the stink was to much no wonder Ann used to moan about it even though i modelled in the garage in them days
So i moved it outside to do the top
Much better

I seem to remember in the old days we used to paint and sand, then gloss.
