cant be arsed with the dorinier at the mo.

i got the plans for a vickers viscount in the post today.
60 inch wing span c/l model, so i will have to convert it to rc.

i have to modify the plan from control line to r/c so got to add ailerons and rudder to the design.
also work out where to put everything.

they look good from a distance, but close up they are no where near perfect.
still once its all covered and sanded you wont see the formers anyway.

I note that this plan is a control line model which you are modifying For RC. I wonder how scale it is and if you will have to check the moment arm to the tail and - the areas of the tailplane, elevators and fin/rudder. BTW - I've just been reading an article in RCM&E about multiple electric motors and the wiring required - you are going to have fun aren't you? Yep - it is the March 2012 issue - which we've only just got down here - penalty of living in the Colonies.

yes it is going to be fun.
i get bored with cutting ribs and formers, so i like to cut a bit and build a bit, then go back to cutting. that way you have something to show at the end of the day other than a pile of bits.
