well today has been a slow day.
i have managed to get some more planking done round the nose and cockpit area.

i have to trim the balsa away from inside the cockpit area, then do the roof.

its pants at the mo.
need to trim the balsa back behind the front uprights and fit it out before i can do any more to it.

decided to fit the snakes in the rear so i can get on with planking the rear end.

The middles aren't too critical, but the ends of the outers mustn't move.

the ends will be built into the fuselage at the rear and i will be fixing a cross bar to take the servo ends.
need to decide where the servos are going first.:P

Sorry but I have to disagree with you Eric - the middles still need to be positively located other wise you can get a build up of flutter. Especially if it is a highly stressed control surface. This becomes more critical the longer the unsupported length of the snake becomes. I support snakes at every bulkhead or every six inches - which ever is the shortest.

middles of the snakes have been glued in position.
and the sheeting round the rear is nearly done.

the open area along the side is where the windows have to be fitted and i have to put some seats inside still.
the open bottom will be partially planked except where the wing will be bolted in.

Progressing well Tony - I'm still amazed at the speed you build at. Just a thought - if you don't want to go to all the trouble of seats and windows - you could plank it all in and paint the windows on - OK - I know - I'm a philistine - or is that a pollystine? :lol: :lol: :lol: :P

pulled the first wing half off of the board and is building the second half now.

then i need to make the dihedral braces and i can join them together.
be nacelles after that.:unsure:

both wing halves are off the board.
just had an offer up.
dihedral is not set yet as they need to be joined yet.
