if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

And for the last 3 days iv been paying for it with my body
I used to fit 3 kitchens a week right up until i was 63 so thats lifting between 6 and nine of those tops a week on my own as well as everything else that go's into fitting a kitchen for many years
Now i know why my body is totally knackered
With thr Bucker nearly restored, just needs repainting im looking for a new project to start probably a small one as i dont know how much time is left

Wait until you try to repair one of the imported pre-covered wood models. I don't know what the 'skin' is made of, but it is thicker than the Solarfilm we all love to hate - and over time it goes brittle, so it shatters - or simply comes unstuck. Also, it is a shrink-once material, and no matter what you do, it will not tighten up again if it goes slack with age.
Also - should you manage to puncture it, it doesn't make a neat hole, it rips, like thick paper or parchment.
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
