i started by printing out some formers and then glued them to some 3mm depron cores.
the resulting construction is now being covered with more 3mm depron and then the two halves will be joined together.
I need to make the, knock off in case of bad landings,so i shall be making some ply and magnet fittings later.
Thanks

i shall just make them and fit them and hop for the best.
at least if they are removable i can just take them off if they cause problems.

the idea is to have a box on the panniers that will slot over the mount and then it will all be held on with magnets.
they slot on over the wing tubes and will be glued home later when i am happy with everything.
I just need to finish making the panniers now.
we poodle on

I think we've all seen that vid where a Skyhawk dropped an external fuel tank, but it flipped up over the top of the wing, collided with the chase plane, and took it's wing off!

At the time the bombs would have been manually loaded so it was important that the panniers were reasonably close to and parallel to the ground when the Wellesley was sitting on its undercarriage.
